The Charles Hotel donates food to several local charities and people in need.  Executive Chef Peter Davis has provided 200 meals of free-range naturally-raised turkey dinners for The Massachusetts Avenue Baptist Church every Thanksgiving and Christmas for the last six years.  For the past seven years, the food and beverage department at The Charles Hotel has prepared 250 meals and delivered them to First Parish Church in Harvard Square every Tuesday (for 52 weeks a year).  These meals are given to local homeless individuals and families in need.  In addition, Henrietta’s Table donates a table for ten to Community Servings every year, an organization that provides free, hot, home-delivered meals for individuals living with AIDS and their families or caregivers.  Henrietta’s Table also participates in several benefit food festivals including Spinazzola’s Food Gala, Taste of Boston and Taste of Cambridge.
